Afternoon at Subic

Subic Freeport ZonePhilippines (April 13, 2014)
From the Balloon Festival in Pampanga, we headed to Subic! The sun was up, the heat was kind of unbearable, and there weren’t many cars yet. Yup, it’s summer. Baka this Holy Week pa lang dadami mga tao. I’ve been here tons of times before (approx. 2 hours from Manila) and the motivation? The tax-free food shopping!! HAHAHA! And my dad goes here for business stuff-blah-blah too..
First, we went grocery shopping (hooola!). Then for lunch, we brought food from home (in short, baon) and just got chicken from Max’s! And for some reason my mom wanted to eat by the bay - on the rocks - and under the sun! So we stopped somewhere and had some mini picnic going on.. Hay mommy, your “spontaneity” pls.. The view was really nice tho! Pictures above.
We were supposed to go to Dinalupihan to find a beach (mommy’s spontaneity again) but due to so much heat, we just decided to go back to Manila. It was around 3pm that I found out we were heading for a waterpark in Pulilan, Bulacan (again, my spontaneous mom is spontaeneous). That afternoon we went swimming and again, there weren’t so many people! Haha! Aghh, it felt so good to be submerged in chlorine after so many months!!!
So happy that we did this not-so-planned day trip!! Spontaneous is as spontaneous does. HAHA!
