White sand plus aqua blue water? Facing the Pacific Ocean and resting by the mountains of Sierra Madre? Need I say more? Haha!
This place was just perfect, it’s probably comparable to Pagudpud. There were a few cottages available for an overnight stay, there also kubos for a day trip and there were also those kubos for free which we luckily and randomly got, haha! It wasn’t a developed tourist spot but it was like a secret tourist destination where people don’t flock and you can actually take a picture without anyone photo bombing from behind. What’s even better is that there are those clean public shower stalls where in you have to pump water from outside or "igib galing sa poso" and bring it inside the stall! Rural living feels, right? I have men in my life to do the pumping for me, my brothers, haha!
The sun was, as usual, hot but the wind was refreshing and if you just stay on a shaded area, you can lie on the sand and fall asleep just like how my dad did! For lunch, my mom bought fish from a fisherman then had it cooked (paluto) by a local, not for free though. We brought disposable utensils and ate on sand, overlooking the Pacific Ocean, agh, relaxing pls.
The water was deep though and isn’t the gradually-changing-from-shallow-to-deep kind of beach but you can still swim of course! I suggest bringing some floaties or a life-jacket to be able to just float around and maybe, again, fall asleep? Whoops, dangerous, baka mapadpad sa Guam, haha!
Getting There: It’s a 1.5 or 2 hr drive north from Baler with some very steep but good roads up the mountains and with a great view! Make sure your car has enough gas ‘cause there weren’t gas stations on the way, only those sold in bottles.
